Architecte-Paysagiste, Docteur en Aménagement du Territoire, il enseigne la théorie et la pratique de l’aménagement du paysage. Il est actuellement Associate au Departement d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme du Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology_Australia, Associate au School of Design and the Built Environment de CURTIN University, Perth_Australia ainsi que professeur invité à l’Institut d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme de Sao Paulo, Brazil et a l’ecole d’Architecture de l’Université de Seville, Espagne.
Détenteur de Masters en Arts Plastiques et en Architecture Paysagère, il vis, enseigne et pratique en Australasie (Corée du Sud, Japon, Singapore, Thaïlande et Australie) depuis quinze ans où il conduit des recherches en éthiques environnementales afin de repenser la conception paysagère contemporaine. Pour cela, il intègra le laboratoire de recherche du philosophe Toshio Kuwako à l’institut technologique de Tokyo où il coopère aux investigations des procédures de participation citoyenne tout en repensant l’approche du paysage depuis une approche stimulée par les humanités environnementales émergentes.
En plus d’avoir conçu et réaliser des projets en Europe et en Asie en tant qu’indépendant au sein de son agence SCAPETHICAL ou au cœur d’agences de planification et d’architectes mondialement réputés comme EDAW/AECOM, MASSTUDIES et collaboré à maints projets dans plus de 13 pays, il a publié de nombreux articles professionnels et académiques dans de nombreuses revues internationales dont Topos, Projet de Paysage, Il Squaderno.
Parallèlement à une activité de conférencier international où il est régulièrement invité pour explorer l’émergence de nouvelles hybridations de savoirs en aménagement du territoire, il organise régulièrement des rencontres internationales telles que Social Ecology in Asia (2014), Seoul Walks (2015), Aesthetics of Resistance (2016) et plus récemment Design Diplomacy_ Transmission des pratiques et coutumes autochtones (2019-2020) confrontant participants indigènes et exogènes autour des problématiques développées dans un ouvrage a paraitre prochainement.
